Family Photos

We managed to squeeze in a photo shoot with Tom's long-time friend, Tim Harman, while we were on the East coast.  I'm so glad we made time for it - he got some wonderful shots (in spite of Andrew's inability to sit still) that I will treasure for years to come.  Thanks, Tim!  http://www.timharman.com/

 Getting two little ones to sit still and cooperate was a little challenging.  I feel like in every picture where Andrew is forced to sit still he looks void of all life.

Trip to Mandalay Beach

Back in March, we cashed in some of Tom's hotel points (we've gotta get some benefit to all Tom's traveling!) and stayed right on the beach in Oxnard.  The weather was cool, but we had a good time just  being together.  The kids LOVED the beach and after Andrew discovered the water, we had our work cut out for us keeping him from taking a freezing cold swim!

Dance Class

We got to dance class a little early this week, so I took the time to take some pictures.  I've been meaning to post one of Laura in her purple (of course it's purple!) dance outfit.

Daily Life

Many moments go by in our house where I am happy to have them over and forgotten.  Other times I wish I could bottle up the moments and keep them forever.  I seldom have my camera ready, but had it the other day so that I can remember these sweet faces and antics long after they're past :)

 Laura turned some music on after dinner but couldn't dance because, "I don't have on a beautiful dress, Mama!"  So she went to change and came back in this outfit.  This is what dancers wear - too small dress-up dresses, a lei and a crown top it all off!  She felt like the most beautiful girl in the world and I agreed with her!

When he's happy, he's happy!  I love his big blue eyes and is baby curls.  How is it that my baby is 16 months old??

I was trying to get her to show off her shirt from "Miss 'Tacha", and after quite a few faces, finally managed a half-decent shot of her, though the toy was still in the way.  These just remind me of her silly faces and silly moods :)

My Little Walker!

Andrew is walking!  He took 3 steps at Christmas and then took a month and a half break.  One day he decided he wanted to start walking and within a week, he was walking.  A week after that he was cruising like a pro.  It is now his preferred method of travel and I love to watch him toddle!
