Papiliorama!

We visited the butterfly gardens one rainy day when Tom was off of work.  Laura loved all the animals, especially the ducks and the monkeys.  We visited all the areas: butterfly garden, night creatures, rain forest and petting zoo.  I did NOT like the night creatures.  There were hundreds of bats flying around and while they never ran into you, it was unnerving seeing something flying towards your fast extremely quickly.  You could feel the wind of their wings as the flew past you.  I couldn't get out of there fast enough and tried to hide behind Tom most of the time.  It didn't phase Laura and we did get to see a sloth.  I don't think I'd ever seen one before and it was pretty cool.

Checking out the fish and making her fish face at them.

She didn't like the goats - not even the babies.  She kept close to Tom and kept saying, "no, no, no" in a pitiful voice.

One of the many butterflies we saw.  It felt like it was raining butterflies in there.  Laura couldn't stop doing her butterfly sign.

Vainly looking for the ducks that she'd chased away.

Bonus picture of Laura at the fountains at the shopping center close to our house.  It was actually warm enough one morning to go play in the water!
